Stratford’s city council cost just under $229,000 in 2014

The cost for Stratford’s city council in 2014 is in.

The mayor and the councillors were compensated $228,959.

That’s the combined total of remuneration, expenses, and mileage.

Of the councillors who served a full year in 2014 Martin Ritsma had the lowest remuneration at $11,767.

The highest among councillors who served the full year was Tom Clifford at $18,852.

Mayor Dan Mathieson’s total came in at $79,838, about $2900 less than the year before.
