Fewer crashes than usual on Easter weekend

The Perth County OPP is pleased with how the Easter weekend went.

Officers responded to just two crashes, both of which involved deer.

That’s far below the recent average for the area.

The OPP says Perth County has averaged 18 crashes over the past three Easter weekends.

It wasn’t all good though as officers issued 166 speeding tickets, up 155% from last year’s Easter.
