Three inducted into Agriculture Wall of Fame

Three new names have been added to the Stratford Perth Museum’s Agriculture Wall of Fame.

They’re Allan Bain, Pat Lynch, and Murray Selves.

Bain was a successful farmer and Holstein breeder, winning the Master Breeder Award.

Lynch is a soil and crops adviser who got his start in Stratford in 1972 with the Ministry of Agriculture.

Selves was a pig farmer and inventor who came up with a number of creations still used today.

The three men were celebrated at the Rotary Club’s Rural-Urban Night on April 9th.
