Black Swan pleased with beer retail reforms

Stratford’s Black Swan Brewing Company likes what they see, so far.

That’s their reaction to the government’s decision to allow beer to be sold in grocery stores.

Bruce Pepper is the craft brewery’s brewer and co-owner.

He says the changes aren’t major, but things are moving in the right direction:

Pepper says one of the things they’re most excited about is growlers in the LCBO:

Growlers are larger glass containers filled with fresh draft beer.

The government’s decision includes 450 grocery stores getting the ability to sell beer and forcing The Beer Store to more than double its craft beer shelf space.
