Minor Sports Council Banquet set for Saturday

Stratford’s annual Minor Sports Council Banquet is happening tomorrow.

The night features the induction of the 2015 Sports Wall of Fame Inductees.

Mayor Dan Mathieson says the group includes an old school hockey team:

and a man who played a huge part in building the city’s minor hockey association in the 50s:

The other inductees are two-time Stanley Cup champion Tim Taylor and current associate coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets Craig Hartsburg.

Tomorrow’s banquet is happening at the Rotary Complex at 5:00 p.m.
