Thieves steal cash and prescription pills

The Huron County OPP is investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred earlier this week.

It took place Monday between 8:00am and 11:00pm at a residence located on Nile Road near Gore Road.

The owner reported the crime to police on Tuesday.

The victim reported those responsible entered the unlocked residence sometime on February 17th.

Once inside the residence they stole cash, prescription medication and a set of vehicle keys.

Investigators have determined a suspicious vehicle with three occupants had been spotted in the area earlier that evening.

The suspicious vehicle is described as a white, 1995 GMC Sierra pickup with a dark coloured topper.

The driver of the suspicious vehicle is described as a male in his early twenties.

A male passenger was described by witnesses as being short.

The third occupant in the truck was a female, with red hair and a petit build.
