Sleep doctor found guilty of professional misconduct

A sleep doctor in the region has been found guilty of professional misconduct.

Wagdy Abdulla Botros has clinics in Kitchener, Cambridge, London, and Mississauga.

This decision comes from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

The London Free Press says Botros didn’t participate in a communication course the college ordered him to take for 16 months.

He’s also facing a list of complaints from 35 patients, accusing him of failing to provide proper care for them between 2007 and 2010.

He allegedly ignored health conditions they had and used guess work instead of hard evidence.

The allegations have been forwarded to the College’s Discipline Committee.
