Riversedge proposal rejected, Cooper Site demolition vote set for next week

Riversedge won’t be developing the Cooper Site after all.

Reports say Stratford City Council rejected the company’s offer to buy the property at Monday’s meeting.

At that same meeting council again deferred a motion to demolish part of the building.

A special council meeting will be held to vote on that motion.

If it’s approved only three bays would be left standing.

The special meeting has been scheduled for next Monday night at 7:00 p.m.
