Upper Avon River Conservation Club planting trees for 22nd year

Wednesday is the 22nd Annual Avon River Tree Planting Day.

This year’s planting site is at 2920 Line 34.

It’s being put on by the Upper Avon River Conservation Club.

100 potted trees, 50 seedlings, and 25 large hardwoods are going into the ground.

Students from Stratford Central Secondary and members of the community will be doing the planting.

They’ll be out from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
