A Perth East man faces charges after fleeing from the police.
The Perth County OPP says just after 1:00 a.m. Wednesday an officer pulled over a Ford SUV in Tavistock.
The driver came to a stop but as the officer walked towards the SUV it sped away.
Later that day the Oxford County OPP found the undamaged SUV in a ditch along the 15th Line near Road 84 in Zorra Township.
A short time later the owner reported the SUV stolen, however an investigation revealed it had been driven by the owner.
The 26-year-old has been charged with flight from police and failing to comply with a recognizance.
