Stratford Summer Music gets federal funding

The federal government is investing in yet another staple of our city.

Stratford Summer Music will be getting $40,000.  Perth-Wellington MP Gary Schellenberger announced the funding on behalf of the federal government on Thursday.

In a release Schellenberger says the “government is proud to give Canadians greater access to the arts”.  The money is coming from the Canada Arts Presentation Fund.

Stratford Summer Music runs from July 20th to August 30th.  It’ll be the festival’s 15th season.
