United Way raises $1.15 million in 2014-2015 campaign

It’s been a big year for the United Way Perth-Huron.

The 2014-2015 campaign raised $1,153,536.  The organization made that announcement at last night’s Spirit of Community Celebration.

It’s the most they’ve ever raised in one campaign.  Stratford Police Chief and campaign co-chair John Bates called it “an incredible achievement for our community”.

Over 200 people attended the celebration at the Arden Park Hotel here in Stratford.

Organizations interested in applying for funding should get in touch with the United Way at 32 Erie Street in Stratford; online at perthhuron.unitedway.ca; or by phone toll free 1-877-818-8867.
