Collision on Highway 401 in Oxford County

The Oxford County OPP is warning motorists of a collision on Highway 401 nearby that’s slowing things down.

A single tractor trailer collided in the eastbound lane between Pigram Line and Culloden Road.

Minor injuries reported.

The eastbound lanes are closed as well as one westbound lane blocked due to debris on highway.

Traffic is being diverted eastbound at Putnam Road.

OPP and other emergency vehicles are on the scene and are advising motorists to slow down and be cautious in that area for at least the next hour.

Cause of the collision is still under investigation.
