Randy Pettapiece is congratulating the new Ontario PC Leader. Â Patrick Brown, the federal Conservative MP for Barrie, defeated Christine Elliott for the top spot Saturday.
Pettapiece, the Perth-Wellington MPP, says he backed Elliott, but is acknowledging Brown’s hard work:

He says Brown is committed to having the Progressive Conservatives work as a team:

Pettapiece added that the PCs will now focus on winning the next election:

With each riding granted 100 points in the PC leadership race, party members in Perth-Wellington voted 57 to 43 in favour of Brown.
