Pettapiece congratulates Brown on PC leadership nomination

Randy Pettapiece is congratulating the new Ontario PC Leader.  Patrick Brown, the federal Conservative MP for Barrie, defeated Christine Elliott for the top spot Saturday.

Pettapiece, the Perth-Wellington MPP, says he backed Elliott, but is acknowledging Brown’s hard work:

He says Brown is committed to having the Progressive Conservatives work as a team:

Pettapiece added that the PCs will now focus on winning the next election:

With each riding granted 100 points in the PC leadership race, party members in Perth-Wellington voted 57 to 43 in favour of Brown.
