Elsie Mae Diamond, age 72, of RR# 2 St. Pauls, passed away suddenly at the Stratford General Hospital on May 16, 2015. Elsie was born in Stratford, April 9, 1943, daughter of the late James and Vera Landers. Predeceased by her husband Donald John Diamond January 9, 2007. Loving mother of Kim Bell (Randy), Paula Diamond, Jeff Diamond (Heather) and Jennifer Louwagie (Dan). Grandmother of J.R. Diamond (Jessica), Tyler Langfield, Robbie Diamond (Christine), Clarissa and Kyle Diamond, Zachary and Brent Louwagie and Brendan Bell. Great grandmother of Emily Diamond. Dear sister of Wallace Landers and Robert Landers (Elaine). Also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Don Listman, Werner Friemel, Jean and Russ Diamond, Grace and Sharon Diamond. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by sisters Beatrice Listman, Judy Friemel, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Helen Landers, Lawrence and Carol Diamond, Harold Diamond, Alice and Floyd Malcho, Ralph Diamond and Olive Roth. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, May 19, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 20, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery.
