Stratford Festival’s “Antony and Cleopatra” hitting theatres Thursday

The Stratford Festival’s production of Antony and Cleopatra hits the big screen tomorrow.

Movie theatres across Canada and the United States will be premiering the film.  The play was shot in high definition last season as part of an ongoing Festival project.

They’re looking to commit all of Shakespeare’s plays to film over the course of 10 years.  The series began with King Lear in February and was followed by King John in April.

You can find more information about the project at the Stratford Festival’s website.
