Racing charge in Huron County

A 19-year-old speed demon will need two feet and a heartbeat to get around for the week.

He was stopped by police for racing on Amberley Road last Thursday morning.

It happened just after 6:30am.

The Huron County OPP noticed a speeding Chevrolet Impala, east of Lucknow.

It was going 138 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.

The South Bruce man was charged with racing.

He lost his licence and vehicle for seven days.
