Police respond to 32 crashes in 24 hours

Police were nearly run off their feet last Friday.

The Perth County OPP responded to 32 crashes on February 21st.

The collisions occurred throughout The County with the majority taking place on east/west roads.

High winds, blowing snow, slush and ice made the roads dangerous.

Cars slid off of roads into snowbanks, numerous trucks and trailers ended up in ditches or jackknifed.

Three vehicles struck and snapped hydro poles.
