St. Marys man hit with impaired charge

A St. Marys man has lost his truck for a week.

The Perth County OPP says an officer spotted a drunk man on Church Street in the Stone Town Friday night.  He was at his pickup truck.

The 67-year-old was arrested and taken to the Sebringville detachment where he failed two breath tests.  He’s been charged with “care or control while impaired” and “over 80 mgs of alcohol”.

His truck was impounded.
