Pettapiece discussing potential damage of Ontario Retirement Pension Plan

Randy Pettapiece believes the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan will be a “major blow” to business.  The Perth-Wellington MPP is trying to get that message out through public meetings.

One of those meetings was held in Stratford last Thursday.  Pettapiece says the Liberal government already admits the ORPP will cost jobs:

The plan would call for employees to contribute 1.9% of their earnings with employers matching them.  Pettapiece says local businesses are telling him that’s not going to work for them:

Pettapiece will be hosting another ORPP meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Mount Forest & District Sports Complex.
