The Perth County OPP is warning residents about a Green Card Lottery scam. Â Police say a West Perth woman fell victim to the con costing her $8,000.
While the Green Card Lottery is a legitimate program put together by the United States government, Canadians are not typically eligible for it. Â The U.S. Department of State says there has been a notable increase in fraud related to this program.
