UPDATE: Name of toddler who drowned at a Huron County farm released

The OPP has released the name of the toddler who died at a Huron County farm.

She was 18-month-old Fanny Yoder.  It happened Sunday night after she had wandered away from a group of siblings who were playing together.

Family members searched for her after they’d realized she was missing.  The toddler was found unresponsive in a water trough inside a barn.

The child was rushed to an area hospital by paramedics however attempts to revive her were unsuccessful.  Fanny Yoder’s death has been established as an accidental drowning.
