Maria Luyten, 83, of Mitchell passed away peacefully with family by her side at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
Beloved wife of John Luyten. Dear mother of Marianne and Ed Van Esbroeck, Greg and Helma Luyten, Ed and Lucy Luyten, Peter and Margaret Luyten, Ken and Marlene Luyten, Rob Luyten, Patricia and Andy Bader. Loving Oma of 26 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her brother and sisters in Holland.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Kinkora on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Clare Coleman – celebrant. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kinkora. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
