Bieber pleads guilty to assault and careless driving

Justin Bieber has pleaded guilty to assault and careless driving.

Reports say the singer appeared in Stratford court via video Thursday.  The charges were related to the incident that happened last summer northeast of the city.

Bieber and Selena Gomez were riding an ATV and had a confrontation with a paparazzo on Labour Day weekend.  He was reportedly visiting his father who lives in the area.

Bieber got an absolute discharge on the assault but will have to fork over a fine of $750 for the careless driving.
