Area grocery stores collecting for YMCA starting Friday

Starting this week area grocery stores will be collecting money to help children in our community.

Zehrs and No Frills in Stratford, as well as Walkom’s Valu-Mart in Mitchell, will be taking donations for the YMCA.  During the campaign you’ll be given the opportunity to add $2 to your grocery bill.

The money collected in Stratford will help send a kid to YMCA Day Camp this summer.  Donations in Mitchell will go to the YMCA’s West Perth Youth Centre.

All the money collected will stay in the area.  The campaign runs from June 12th to the 21st.
