Charges have been laid following a disturbance on Railway Avenue.
Stratford Police responded to a 911 call Sunday afternoon. When officers arrived they could hear the commotion and quickly intervened.
It turned out to be an altercation between a father and son involving a weapon. During the dustup the father was cut on the neck.
A 27-year-old was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
