Field Day and Fish Fry returns to Shakespeare for 68th year

The 68th annual Field Day and Fish Fry in Shakespeare is set for this weekend.  It’s put on by the Shakespeare & Community Athletic Association.

The day includes things like a soap box derby, a parade, a silent auction, fireworks and a family dance.

Organizer Gary West says they’ll be honouring former organizers as well:

The Field Day and Fish Fry is happening Saturday and kicks off at 8:00 a.m. with the Firefighters Association Breakfast.

Tickets are available in Shakespeare at Rosemarie’s Family Restaurant, Your Neighbourhood Credit Union, and the ESSO gas station, or by calling Ellen Fuhr at 519-625-8984.
