Elementary students in the Avon Maitland District School Board will be getting their final report cards. This is despite the ongoing job action by the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario.
A letter to parents by Director of Education Ted Doherty says the report cards will consist solely of a final grade. Teachers are submitting the grades to administration and then, led by the school’s Principal, administration will enter the information.
Doherty says any parent interested in discussing the marks can get in touch their child’s teacher.
