Pan Am Torch Relay runs through Stratford this week

The Pan Am Games Torch Relay makes its way through our area this week.  It’ll be in Stratford on Thursday between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Rolling road closures will be in place to accommodate the relay and Lakeside Drive from Queens Park Drive to Front Street will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Fran Hitchcock and James Koebel will be carrying the torch through Stratford.  The City of Stratford’s website has the complete route and more information about the day’s plans.

The Pan Am Torch will be in Tavistock earlier Thursday afternoon with a stop at the Queen’s Park Centre around 2:30 p.m.
