VIA Rail looking at restoring an early morning train from Stratford to Toronto

Stratford may be getting back its early train to Toronto.

Yves Desjardins-Siciliano, the President and CEO of VIA Rail, made that announcement Tuesday.  He was speaking at a luncheon put on by the Stratford & District Chamber of Commerce.

Desjardins-Siciliano said the train would leave Stratford at 6:30 a.m. and head back at 4:30 p.m.  There are still a lot of details to work out, but the plan would see the new run in place in the New Year.
