Avon Maitland District School Board approves budget

The Avon Maitland District School Board has approved its 2015-2016 Budget.

It’s projecting net revenues of $209,933,901.  That’s about 1.3% less than the 2014/2015 Revised Estimates figure.

Expenses are projected to be $196,084,810 with the $13,849,091 difference getting transferred to the capital budget.

Board staff believes they fared well in expected revenues, especially considering the projected 2.23% decline in enrolment for the upcoming school year.
