Roads reopen

Nearly all the roads in Perth and Huron counties have been reopened.

There are a few exceptions.

Highway 23 from Elginfield to Mitchell is still closed as is Highway 21 from Kincardine to Southampton.

Otherwise, all other roadways are open at this moment but road conditions aren’t the best.

Motorists are urged to use extreme caution and vigilance while driving today.

There is quite a bit of icy hard-packed snow on the roads so be careful and take it slow.
