Pettapiece says Liberals ignoring concerns over pension plan

Randy Pettapiece believes the Liberals are ignoring local concerns about the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan.

Back in May the Perth-Wellington MPP held public information sessions on the issue in Stratford and Mount Forest.  During those meetings a number of people expressed concerns with the plan.

Pettapiece followed up with an open letter to Mitzie Hunter, the Associate Minister of Finance.  In it he blasts the government’s own estimates that for every $6 billion collected in ORPP 54,000 jobs will be lost.

Pettapiece is asking the government to release more details on how it intends to implement the ORPP.
