A Stratford man has been charged with theft after an incident in St. Marys.
The Perth County OPP says a man went in to Canadian Tire last Friday afternoon. Â He allegedly left the store with an automotive item without paying.
On Saturday the same man went into the store but left without buying anything when approached by staff. Â He took off in his car but was followed by a store employee who was in contact with the OPP.
The 48-year-old was eventually pulled over and arrested.  He’s been charged with theft under $5,000.
