Fake gun, real charges

A story from Woodstock is a reminder to not mess around with guns, even fake ones.

Woodstock Police say they got a call Thursday afternoon.  The caller saw a car with two people in it make a sudden stop.

They watched the passenger leave the car and approach people that were standing on the sidewalk.  He then got back in the car, rolled down the window and pointed what appeared to be a handgun at the people.

Police quickly tracked the car down and found that the gun was a replica.  A man and a woman were arrested

The 22-year-old man has been charged with firearms offences.
