Police are still looking for a man who tried to rob a bank in Tavistock. The Oxford County OPP says the incident happened on the afternoon of April 9th.
The suspect went into the Scotiabank and demanded money. He fled after a confrontation leaving behind his black, LRG backpack.
The suspect is a slim, black man in his early twenties who stands about 5’9”. He was wearing grey sweat pants and a black puffy coat with a black hood.
A newer white Dodge pickup truck was also spotted in the area during the time of the attempted robbery. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
