Stratford’s Baldor Electric is shutting down.
That’ll affect roughly 65 employees at the Erie Street factory.
Human resources manager Brian White confirmed in a phone interview that manufacturing will be phased out over the rest of this year and early into 2016.
There’s no word on when exactly Baldor will close its doors.
