It could be called “Racing Week”.
The Perth County OPP has charged six people in the span of seven days with racing. The most recent one happened early Wednesday morning near Gads Hill.
An officer caught a Huron East woman on radar going 133 km/h in an 80km/h zone. That woman and the five others charged with racing all lost their licences and vehicles for a week.
The Perth County OPP is urging people to drive safely and courteously. They say excessive, unacceptable speeds place everyone on the road in danger.
