Green Arc Tires gets green light

Green Arc Tires says it’s ready to roll.

The St. Marys eco-tire factory has gotten its permit from the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change.  That’ll let Green Arc move forward with hiring people and making tires.

Company spokesperson Danna O’Brien says they’re thrilled to finally have the permit:

O’Brien says now they’ve got to get the plant up and running:

The company says it plans to hire 340 workers with 25% of the spots reserved for Canadian veterans.  Anyone interested in applying for a position with Green Arc should visit their website.
