Mink producers offering $100,000 for information on “farm invaders”

Canadian mink producers are upping the ante on a reward for what they call “farm invaders”.

Two farms near St. Marys have recently been broken into.  During the course of the break-ins those responsible freed thousands of mink.

The Canada Mink Breeders Association is now offering $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.  That’s up from the original $75,000 reward.

If you know anything about the break-ins at the mink farms you’re asked to call the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
