Public helps OPP track down stolen items in Listowel

The Perth County OPP is giving credit to the public for helping them solve a crime.  A construction trailer in Listowel was broken into early Sunday morning.

A generator and tools were stolen.  Police figured out the stolen items were at a neighbouring home.

After getting a warrant they found the stolen property inside and arrested three males between the ages of 17 and 21.  Each has been charged accordingly.

The OPP says solving this crime would not have been possible without the public’s help.  Calling police immediately when you hear or see anything suspicious is vital to solving crimes.
