Fog leads to pair of crashes at roundabout

The Perth County OPP says fog and careless drivers don’t mix.

This comes after two crashes on Highway 7 at the Perth Road 118 roundabout.  Both happened Saturday morning about an hour apart.

Both drivers, a 42-year-old man from Cambridge and a 49-year-old man from London, have been charged with careless driving.

No one was hurt.

The OPP says neither driver followed the major tip for safely driving in fog: drive at a speed that suits the conditions and slow down gradually.
