Due to the extreme weather this winter, Canadian Blood Services has had to cancel 25 blood donor clinics across the region.
This has made quite a dent in collections despite the unrelenting demand for blood.
To try to make up for lost ground there will be a blood donor clinic today in St Marys from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
It will take place at the Pyramid Recreation Centre.
