Vandalized garden could lead to some good

A local woman is trying to make some good of a seemingly senseless act of vandalism.  Susan Murar says her garden in front of her Cobourg Street home was trashed last week.

In response Murar is calling on other gardeners and flower lovers in Stratford.  She’s asking for donations of potted flowers that can be replanted in the garden and non-perishable food.

Murar will donate the food, as well as $4 for every pot of flowers she gets, to the House of Blessing.  She’s asking people to drop the donations off on the porch of 74 Cobourg Street.
