Former Golden Bamboo restaurant sold

The former Golden Bamboo restaurant has been sold.  The property has been on the market since the mid-90s.

It was sold by Grant Buxton, a real estate agent for Sutton.  In an interview this morning Buxton says he’s been working on the property for the last eight years.

He couldn’t reveal details about price, who bought it, or what their plans are for the property.  Buxton did say, however, that the buyers have the best interests of Stratford in mind and intend to better Ontario Street with the purchase.

He added the deal closes on August 12th.
