$250,000 in federal funding announced for Market Square rehab project

The City of Stratford is getting some federal funding for the Market Square rehabilitation project.  $250,000 is coming from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.

Some other area projects are getting money from the fund as well.

$67,161 is going to the repair of Harry Parrott Pumping Station in West Perth.  The Pioneer Park improvement project in Perth East is getting $20,040.

The money is contingent on getting contribution agreements with the recipients.  Perth-Wellington MP Gary Schellenberger announced the funding today on behalf of the federal government.
