Animals released from third mink farm

Another mink farm in southern Ontario has been attacked.

The Wellington County OPP says 300 animals were released from an operation in Guelph-Eramosa Township sometime last night.

The incident appears to be similar to other incidents that happened recently at mink farms near St. Marys.  Thousands of mink were released from two different farms in those incidents.

The Canada Mink Breeders Association has offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

If you have any information about any of these incidents you’re asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
