168 drivers dinged for speeding over holiday weekend

The results are in from the Perth County OPP’s holiday weekend traffic crackdown.  The biggest issue was speeding, with 168 drivers charged.

Officers also charged five drivers for failing to move over for an emergency vehicle, caught three distracted drivers,  laid 24 other Highway Traffic Act Charges and held 15 R.I.D.E. checks.

There were only three minor crashes on Perth County roads, two of which were due to the stormy weather.
