Area grocery stores raise $7,900 for YMCA Strong Kids Campaign

The Stratford-Perth YMCA Strong Kids Campaign is getting a big boost.

$7,900 is coming from the “Give a Little, Help a Lot” and “Smile” campaigns.  Those were put together by Loblaw Stores in the area.

Zehrs in Stratford and Listowel, Walkom’s Valumart in Mitchell and No Frills in Stratford asked customers for a week in June if they’d like to add two dollars to their grocery bills.

The money that was raised will help kids take part in Day Camp and Youth Centre activities.  The YMCA is thanking everyone for their help.
