Cyclist charged after crash in Listowel

Another cyclist has been charged after a crash.

The OPP says it happened Tuesday morning in Listowel.  The cyclist rode out from a private driveway on Victoria Avenue South and hit a pickup truck.

The 36-year-old from Moorefield then fell off the bike suffering minor injuries.  He’s been charged with failing to yield from a driveway.

This comes after a cyclist from St. Marys was charged after a crash there last week.  The OPP is reminding cyclists that the rules of the road apply to them as well.
